The Blue Light Off Road Club was established in 2010 to enable like minded serving and retired Police, Fire and Ambulance personnel to enjoy off road events for s and motorcycles capable of going off road.
Although some BLORC activities do not fit neatly into a standard model of a sporting activity, over the coming years BLORC hopes to offer 3 distinct types of BLORC activities; the vehicles 4×4 driving and navigation events, competitive motorcycling (MC) events using established events, as well as BLORC run events. Using privately owned MCs and 4×4’s.
The club was formed as there are no civilian emergency clubs that are purely dedicated to the off road disciplines.
Many Service clubs offer a multitude of motorised disciplines within their organisation as well as being aligned to the county or city they’re formed from. BLORC intends to be a national club with off road at its core, adventure, overland, enduro and navigation to mention a few.
So in the words of the fast show
